Hares have a long history of being sacred animals. Witches are said to be able to shape-shift into this creature associated with fertility and the coming of Spring. Queen Boudicca was said to have prayed to a hare goddess before going into battle with the Romans. Our Moon, if you look closely, has a hare draw on its face. Stars & moonstone beads dangle below.
