Refund policy

RETURN POLICY

- Shipping costs are not included in the store credit amount and will not be refunded.

- We cannot accept cancellations or edits on orders once an order has been placed.  Please thoroughly check all information for your purchase (order and sizing, contact information, and payment information) before checking out.  Pricing adjustments will not be made on any past or future orders. 

- If an exchange is needed, please ensure you return your original purchase in the new condition it was received with all tags attached, and use the store credit gift card you will receive via email for your new order.  We cannot offer sale prices on exchanges once a sale has ended. 

- Sustainability / Pre-loved items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.  Be sure to completely read through the description and look through the images prior to purchase.  If you have questions about any sustainability / pre-loved items, please contact our customer service department prior to ordering.

- Please note items that say "Final Sale" in the description are not eligible for return or exchange. If a final sale item is sent back with a return, customer is responsible to pay for return shipping or the item will be donated.

RETURN SHIPPING

- We offer return shipping on all U.S. orders through USPS.

- You have 14 days from the date of fulfillment (the date you receive your fulfillment confirmation email) to return your online order. 

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

- At this time, in the Dustlight does not ship internationally
 

INCORRECT ITEM DELIVERED OR MISSING ITEM FROM ORDER

If you received an order with an incorrect item, or you find that an item is missing from your order, please reach out to us via our contact page within 10 days of the package delivery - include your order number and tracking number.  We ask that you retain the shipping packaging and order packing slip while we look into the incorrect or missing order. 

DAMAGED ITEM SENT

- If you receive a damaged item, please email directly at contact@inthedustlight.com with your order number and a photo of the damaged or wrong item within 10 days of receiving your package. If the order was placed with express shipping please report within 7 days of delivery.

- Do not submit a return claim, this will need to be processed directly by our customer service department.

- If clothing has been washed or worn, damage compensation or returns are no longer available.

To receive your REFUND or STORE CREDIT, item(s) must be:

- Item(s) must be in condition to be RESOLD. We thoroughly check our products before shipment for any signs of damage. It is your responsibility to email us if you receive a damaged/defective item before returning it.  If we find an item has been damaged and returned without reporting it to our customer service department, your return will no longer be eligible for credit or compensation.

DISCOUNT CODES

- General discount codes are one use only.

- Discount codes of any kind (including those redeemed from rewards points) are not stackable.


COLOR DISCREPANCIES

- Please be aware that due to the nature of digital photography and varying lighting situations, product color variations may occur.  If you have a concern about a product color discrepancy once an order has been received, please reach out to us via email.
